Your Care Worker will support you to keep your home as you like it, supporting with light housework including cleaning, washing, ironing and changing beds.

Our Care workers will help you to prepare your own meals, whether it’s a light snack for lunch or a cooked dinner.
Medication Support
PUTTING YOUR HEALTH FIRST
You will be supported to take the prescribed medication correctly. Your Care Worker will be trained in the administration of medication and will receive specialist training specific to your needs where required.
Personal Care
ATTENDING TO YOUR NEEDS
Your Care Worker will offer as much support you as need with washing, dressing, toileting and oral hygiene with the utmost respect for your dignity and privacy.

Whether it’s a weekly shop or just the essentials, our Care Workers are here to make sure you have everything you need.
Respite Care
Looking after your own wellbeing when you are caring for a loved one is important. Our highly trained support workers can spend time with your loved one, giving you time outside of caring.
Our home-based respite care packages can be started as soon as you need us. Our respite service is tailored to you and your loved one’s needs, circumstances and routine.
Whether it is a few hours a week or an extended vacation, seeking respite care Promotes balance that ensures that you can continue to give the care to your loved one.
Reablement
If you’re recovering from an illness, injury or operation you may need extra support readjusting to life at home, usually lasting around 6 weeks. Ivy Care’s reablement service will help you settle in, regain your independence and restore your confidence.
We’ll work with you and your healthcare team to help you achieve very specific goals. We’ll support you with physiotherapy exercises and to help you learn to use appropriate assistive equipment confidently. Our team will be armed with practical strategies to help you adapt to new ways of carrying new ways of doing things and overcome any nervousness.
With our help and encouragement, you’ll quickly build on your strengths get back to living your life.
Many people manage well without ongoing care following reablement however, if you do need longer term support, Ivy care can help.
Palliative Care & End of Life
If you have an incurable illness our palliative care service can help you to enjoy a good quality of life for the time you have left. We also provide specialist end of life care at home as an alternative to hospice care.
Our support can start as soon as you need us. Your care will be organized flexibly and adapted to your changing needs.
Your wishes, advance decisions, and religious and cultural customs will shape your support. We’ll work as a team with you, your family and health care team. Pain and symptoms will be monitored carefully to ensure that you are comfortable at all times.
You will be supported to spend your final stages at home with family and friends. We will be here for you and your family, practically and emotionally, when you need us.
We can provide day and night visits and 24-hour care if needed.
